Akram is an Associate at Makes & Partners Law Firm, where he is actively engaged in the Firm’s Capital Markets and Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Practice Group.
Since joining the Firm in 2021, Akram has built a strong transactional practice grounded in rigorous capital markets and M&A work. In the early stages of his career, he was extensively involved in complex capital markets transactions and M&A matters, equipping him with a robust ability to conduct thorough and sophisticated legal due diligence, particularly for transactions involving public companies and regulated entities. Akram now focuses primarily on capital markets transactions, where he regularly handles a broad range of corporate actions, including public offerings, private placements, and debt issuances.
Leveraging his capital markets expertise, Akram is also actively involved in high-profile M&A transactions, particularly those involving listed companies. In such matters, he takes a leading role in complex legal due diligence exercises and transaction documentation.
In 2024, Akram also pursued his studies at Penn Carey Law at the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned his Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree. During his studies, he served as one of the Class Representatives of the Penn Carey Law Capital Market Law Association (PCLCMA), where he fostered collaboration in the field of capital market law between students and faculty members.
Akram is a member of the Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI).

- PT Sejahteraya Anugrahjaya Tbk (SRAJ) (Mayapada Hospital Group), one of Indonesia’s leading integrated healthcare groups, in a bond issuance structured to support long-term capital planning and the expansion of hospital and healthcare infrastructure, involving layered regulatory and disclosure considerations under Indonesian capital markets regulations
