Iwan is a Senior Partner at Makes & Partners. He has over three decades of experience and heads the Firm’s award-winning Capital Market practice group. He is regarded as one of the pre-eminent legal experts in Indonesia, and is respected and sought after by domestic and foreign clients, and even regulators for his expert insights and advice. Iwan also leads the Capital Market lawyers in all of Indonesia as the appointed Chairman of the Indonesia Association of Capital Market Legal Consultants (HKHPM) for 2021-2024.

Iwan has led the Firm in successfully completing some of the biggest and landmark IPOs in Indonesia in the past three decades, including, most recently the IPOs of Mitratel (as counsel to the Banks) and Blibli (as counsel to Blibli), the second and fifth biggest IPOs, respectively, in Indonesia to date.
