Hansel is an Associate at Makes & Partners Law Firm with a practice spanning dispute resolution, capital markets, corporate transactions, and competition & antitrust.


He is actively involved in complex litigation, including corporate and shareholder disputes, PKPU proceedings, and employment matters, with experience across all tiers of Indonesian courts, from district and administrative courts to commercial courts, and through appeal, cassation, and judicial review before the Supreme Court.


In capital markets, Hansel assists in the handling of go-private transactions for listed companies, including transactions involving the afwezigheid mechanism to address shares held by absent or unlocatable shareholders. He also supports clients on corporate regulatory strategy, competition compliance, and governance-sensitive matters.


Alongside his practice, Hansel has served since 2024 as part of the teaching team for the international program at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Pelita Harapan.

  • Lei Shing Hong Trading Limited, an international conglomerate headquartered in Hong Kong, representing them as the largest unsecured creditor in the PKPU proceedings of PT Limas Tunggal.
  • Key shareholders of Efishery in navigating a nationwide criminal investigation into allegations of complex financial and accounting manipulation, fraud, forgery, embezzlement and money laundering committed within the company.
  • PT Humpuss Intermoda Transportasi Tbk (HITS) in its go-private transaction and voluntary delisting from the Indonesia Stock Exchange, involving strategic capital markets considerations in structuring and safeguarding public shareholder interests.
  • PT Bank Victoria International Tbk & PT Bank Victoria Syariah – assisted PT Victoria Investama Tbk and PT Bank Victoria International Tbk on the sale of 99.99% of their shares in PT Bank Victoria Syariah to PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk, with a transaction value of approximately IDR 1.6 trillion. The acquisition aims to merge BTN Syariah with Victoria Syariah to establish a new sharia bank, which is expected to become the second-largest state-owned sharia bank in Indonesia after PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk. In addition His represent PT Bank Victoria Syariah to squeeze-out mechanics to reduce the number of shareholders with afwezigheid application mechanism.
  • Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. (KKR), one of the world’s leading global investment firms, in connection with Indonesian competition law advisory and compliance for its multiple acquisitions in the education, health, laboratory, and technology sectors
  • PT Prokemas Adhikari Kreasi, a key packaging subsidiary within the FSW Group, in its strategic and value-maximizng divestment via the mega acquisition by SCG Packaging Public Company Limited (SCGP).
  • PT Dian Swastatika Sentosa Tbk (DSSA) in connection with multiple issuances of rupiah-denominated bonds and sukuk listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, supporting the diversified financing requirements of a complex corporate group comprising more than 80 subsidiaries, and underpinning the Group’s long-term capital structure optimization.
  • PT Ciliandra Perkasa, a majority-owned subsidiary of First Resources Limited, in its acquisition of  controlling stake in PT Austindo Nusantara Jaya Tbk, a publicly listed agribusiness group, representing Indonesia’s largest acquisition in the first quarter of 2025 and a landmark consolidation in the plantation and agri-commodities sector.
