PROFILE
Fabian is an Associate at Makes & Partners Law Firm, where he focuses on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), foreign investments, and complex corporate transactions.
He began his career with a strong grounding in dispute resolution, including corporate and shareholder disputes and Suspension of Debt Payment Obligations (PKPU) proceedings. This experience sharpened his judgment in identifying latent dispute risks, anticipating enforcement and litigation exposure, and managing transactions involving contested ownership, competing stakeholder interests, and sensitive factual or legal positions. These dispute-driven insights now inform his transactional work, particularly in the design of corporate governance frameworks and protective deal mechanisms intended to mitigate post-closing disputes and address optical and reputational considerations.
Building on this foundation, Fabian now advises on strategic, complex, and distressed M&A transactions, often involving layered intricacies such as corporate reorganizations, disputed structures, and financial distress or restructuring scenarios. Drawing from extensive M&A legal due diligence experience, he equips transactions with tailored risk-allocation tools, governance safeguards, and execution strategies, while navigating evolving regulatory landscapes and broader political dynamics.
