Yozua founded Makes & Partners in 1993 and has more than 25 years of experience in transnational mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, project finance, foreign investment and a broad range of complex cross-border commercial transactions associated with capital markets.
Yozua’s extensive educational pursuits include a Master of Laws Degree (LL.M.) from the Boalt Hall School of Law, University of California, Berkeley, a Bachelor's Degree in Law from the University of Indonesia, a Master of Management Degree at the Asian Institute of Management, Philippines, and completion of the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
He obtained his doctorate degree in law from the University of Indonesia. Moreover, he is a Distinguished Associate Professor in the University of Pelita Harapan’s Faculty of Law, and his article on Indonesian Securities Takeover Regulations has been published in University of Pennsylvania’s East Asia Law Review.
His professional achievements include being one of the first members of the National Committee on Corporate Governance, and a Registered Legal Consultant of the Indonesian Capital Markets and Financial Institution Supervisory Board (BAPEPAM-LK). Yozua is also on the board of directors of World Vision in Indonesia. World Vision is one of the largest Christian relief NGOs in the world with programs in Indonesia that benefits children and families regardless of religion, race, ethnicity or gender.
