Prawidha Murti is a partner of the Dispute Resolution Practice. She obtained her Bachelor of Law degree (S.H.) from the University of Indonesia in 2000, and since then has embarked on a solid career as a corporate litigator. Since the early day of her professional work, she has handled high-profile commercial disputes at the civil court, bankruptcy court, and domestic arbitration forum, mostly involving foreign clients. Since 2008 she has also been intensivelyinvolved in international commercial dispute proceedings, cross-border litigation, and international arbitration cases. In addition, she regularly takes cross-border family law and asset settlement matters.
Prawidha started her career working with Indonesia’s top litigation firm. She then joined an internationally affiliated law firm in Jakarta, handling the dispute resolution practice. She returned to her previous firm to be in charge of the dispute resolution practice again. She established and ran her own legal practice, before joining forces with Makes & Partners to solidify the firm’s new practice group.
As part of her area of focus, Prawidha has also developed a niche in anti monopoly proceeding, having handled various cases at the Indonesian competition supervisory authority (KPPU). She has always been passionate about international arbitration. In addition to having been involved as counsel in various international arbitration proceedings, Prawidha has also participated in many ICC arbitration conferences and trainings overseas and in Indonesia.
Her notable foreign clients include Total Indonesia, Vico Indonesia, Asian Wallstreet Journal, Time Inc and Astro All Asia Network.
She is a member of the Indonesian Bar Association (PERADI) and holds several training certifications from the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). Outside of work, Prawidha enjoys spending time with her husband and son.
